Randy Jackson is the lead singer for the group Zebra you may remember hearing their hit “Who’s Behind The Door” back in the early 80’s. He’ll be singing with the Virginia Symphony tonight when they perform the music of Led Zeppelin at the Ntelos Pavilion in Portsmouth. Yesterday Randy stopped by the studio, and we got to talking about the first time we met back in 1996. Turns out that performance was his first ever with a Symphony, and began his long relationship with the nationwide Led Zeppelin music tour. Tonight’s show is a special benefit for the Symphony musicians. If you’ve never seen this show,it’s an amazing production that blends the music of a rockin’ band with the music of our Symphony(Wow) . Well tomorrow is the big day for Beatles fans The Beatles: Rock Band video game comes out, which is pretty cool.  But the really big news for me is the release of the digitally re-mastered Beatles catalogue. Starting at 9a.m. we’ll began playing the Beatles A to Z, and every version of every song will be from the NEW  C.D.’s . It’s going to sound great. :- )
