Only this time they did it with a driver that is younger than the number on his car. Trevor Bayne celebrated his 20^th birthday Saturday, and his first win in a “Cup” car on Sunday. He piloted the iconic Wood Brothers # 21 Motorcraft Ford to Victory Lane in only his second start in the sport’s top series. It has been 10 years since Glen and Leonard Wood scored a win with Elliot Sadler behind the wheel at Bristol, and 35 years since their last Daytona 500 victory. What a great way to kick off the racing season with a packed Nascar Sports Grill and a Daytona 500 for the record books. Thanks to everyone that came out and congrats to all of our winners.   p.s. Before the green flag waved my old race buddy Rob Amos told me to just watch that Trevor Bayne kid in the # 21….Gotta say great call Robbie!

Besides this wall of monster big-screens the Nascar Sports Grill has the best sight lines and most high-def TV’s I have ever seen! It’s just a great place to watch a race! Or any other sporting event for that matter.
